Property Claims Representative

The Property Claims Representative will be responsible for a desk of first-party commercial property losses. This position will require excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the willingness to adapt to our growing business. The Property Claims Representative will report to the Property Claims Supervisor.

The Property Claims Representative will conduct investigations as they adjust 1^st party property claims. The Adjuster’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Investigating losses and determining coverage
• Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and records
• Establishing damages and appropriate reserves
• Processing payments
• Providing superb customer service in a fast paced environment
• Taking statements from insureds and witnesses
• Evaluating policies and contract language to identify coverage issues
• Drafting detailed coverage letters

• College degree or college level education preferred
• Adjuster licensing
• At least three years of claims adjusting experience, preferably involving commercial property loss
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Additional certifications are a plus
